Bhutan Cultural Tour

USD 1470*
*per person with sharing

When you visit Bhutan for the first time you will get the impression that you have stepped into a land which you believed existed only in stories or imagination. Bhutan is well guarded by nature and law to protect its people, culture and tradition from the influences of the modern world and so we call it the last Shangri-La. Your Bhutan tour will take you to the spectacular dzongs (fortresses) of Paro, Wangdue Phodrang and Punakha and you can immerse yourself in Bhutanese culture, tradition and history. You will appreciate the mountain views from the Dho Chu La and Chele La passes and attend the colorful week-end market in Thimpu.

Your Bhutan tour package can be timed with the glorious tsechu festivals of Bhutan. The tsechus are the most colourful of all Bhutanese gatherings and they are celebrated at every dzong. The tsechus are religious festivals that commemorate the deeds of Buddha and to honour Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava who brought Buddhism to the country. You will also have the opportunity to take a short Bhutan trek, visit farm houses and meet the local families. You can observe their daily activities and gain an appreciation of  Bhutan's rural lifestyle.
