CHITWAN & POKHARA ( COMBINATION OF NATURE & WILDLIFE )

Itinerary

• add Day 1

  We leave Kathmandu at 7:00 am for the 5 hour drive to Chitwan down winding hilly roads and hairpin bends. Expect to arrive by mid-afternoon. Take your time to check-in and freshen up. We have an exciting evening planned for you Immerse yourself in the local culture during your late afternoon tour of a Tharu village. At dinner join the locals as you watch the famous Tharu stick dance. (Lunch and Dinner will be provided. Overnight at the resort/hotel.)

   

   

   

• add Day 2

  After an early morning wakeup call with tea/coffee, you will take a bird-watching tour before returning to the hotel for breakfast. After a short rest you will visit the elephant breeding center and stable. 

  Attractions of the day include a canoe ride on the Rapti River and a 2 hour elephant safari at the Chitwan National Park where you will get to see over many species of mammals. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided. (Overnight at the hotel.)

• add Day 3

  After breakfast we will take the local express bus for a 6 hour drive to the scenic city of Pokhara. Upon arrival check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day as you please. You will see that it has rightfully been called ‘one of the most beautiful places on earth’.

      Take a boat ride on Phewa Lake while enjoying the reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhre, enjoy shopping in Pokhara’s famous Lakeside area and old bazaars or just sit        by the lake enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. (Breakfast provided. Overnight at the hotel.)

• add Day 4

  This day will be dedicated to soaking up all that this magnificent city has to offer. After breakfast, we will take you on a sightseeing tour of Pokhara which will include the city’s main attractions such as the Bindhabasini Temple, Davi’s fall, Gupteswor cave, Fewa Lake, Mahendra Bridge, Mahendra Cave and Bat cave. Don’t forget to enjoy the local cuisine especially fish cooked in a variety of styles. (Breakfast provided. Overnight at the hotel.)

• add Day 5

  Early in the morning after breakfast you will return back home with unforgettable memories of your trip.
